Collectively, we’ve been in the insurance world since 2016, and we officially opened our doors in 2021. Since then, we’ve helped countless individuals and families find the right coverage and plan for the future with confidence.

LaShaundra Thompson
Putting People First—Always
Hi, I’m LaShaundra Thompson, and helping people has always been at the heart of everything I do. Before I ever stepped into the insurance world, I worked in customer service, so taking care of people just comes naturally. I’ve always believed that listening, understanding, and being honest go a long way—and that’s something I carry with me every day.
I started my insurance journey in 2016 as a captive agent, focused solely on life insurance. But it didn’t take long to realize that people needed more. Life isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I wanted to be able to offer solutions that truly made sense for each person’s situation. So, in 2017, I became an independent agent—and never looked back.
Now, I work alongside my husband (which I love!), and together we help individuals and families with everything from healthcare and Medicare to retirement planning and, yes, life insurance too. In 2021, we took a big step and opened our own office—a place where people can feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their options, and getting the support they need.

From Lineman to Life Planner – A Journey Rooted in Hard Work and Heart
Hey, I’m Ashley Thompson. Before I got into the insurance world, I was out in the field working as a lineman—climbing poles, fixing lines, and doing the kind of work that most folks don’t think twice about until the power goes out. It was tough, but it taught me a lot about hard work, staying grounded, and showing up for people.
In 2018, I made a big switch. I stepped into the insurance world not really knowing what to expect—but I quickly found out it was exactly where I was meant to be. Now, with 5 years under my belt, I help folks like you make sense of things like Medicare, life insurance, and retirement planning. I enjoy breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense—no pressure, no confusion, just real help.
The best part? I get to do it all with my wife by my side. We’ve been building this business together since 2021, and there’s nothing better than working with your best friend. We’re a team in every sense of the word, and we really enjoy helping people figure out the stuff that most don’t have time—or patience—to figure out on their own.
